The rain of blessing

Imagine spending a long time without rain on the land, the rain you waited for months and it never came. Imagine that your life depends solely on cultivation to survive. There comes a moment when, due to the lack of food and rain, you end up consuming your last seed, driven by desperation. Now, imagine so many children around you, and you not knowing what to give them to eat.*

This is the reality faced by many people being devastated by the climatic phenomenon El Niño, which has destroyed lands and crops. When we returned home, after our last visit, we decided to seek greater support from Mr. Alan, just to ensure they had at least the bare minimum of food. Thanks to you and him, with kind hearts, we received the necessary support and went back to help, as always, praying and asking for help from our Heavenly Father.

On the second day, right after our arrival, before we began distributing the donations, something unexpected happened. Finally, the rain of miracles fell. At that moment, we were filled with renewed faith, believing that Heavenly Father truly listens to and answers our prayers. The people, who had lived so long without rain, a people suffering from severe hunger, in a distant community, over 35 kilometres away, received the rain as a sign of blessing. We then offered a prayer of gratitude, knowing that our prayers have the power to change lives and even countries,

The Lord said, “If you keep my commandments, I am obligated to bless you, but the one who does not keep them, I have no obligation to him.” God loves His children, and we are deeply grateful to be part of this great cause: helping dozens of people who were starving. May we continue to be more generous, for miracles happen when we act with faith and compassion.
