We had the privilege of carrying out another act of solidarity by donating food to a needy orphanage that cares for young children. Through this initiative, we were able to help more than 54 children.
This donation, made by my wife and me, was possible through Opportunity for Africa, along with a small contribution from the bakery fund. Afterward, some people questioned us because the children are cared for by sisters from the Catholic Church and because we chose this place when there are many others that are not connected to the Catholic religion.

I responded that hardship, hunger, and suffering know no boundaries, no color, and no religion. We are all in need. We all feel hunger. We all face challenges.
And as long as we have even a little in our hands to help children who are suffering from hunger, we will continue to help. Opportunity for Africa does not make distinctions: we are all one, united by a single purpose — helping those in need.
We love doing good. We love helping people. And we would do it again, again, and again, because serving others is part of who we are.
