we had the opportunity to visit one of our beneficiaries, who was supported with food kits. When we arrived, we met our little friend Zeca, a special boy who will soon turn 9 years old—almost on the same date as mine. I celebrate my birthday on the 29th, and he on March 30th. This coincidence already touched my heart… but nothing compares to his story.
Zeca is a boy full of life, intelligent, and very joyful, despite the enormous challenges he faces. He has mobility limitations and lives only with his mother, a warrior woman who fights every day to ensure her son has dignity and, above all, hope for a better future.
During the day, Zeca smiles, plays, and spreads joy. But when night falls, reality changes: he suffers unbearable pain caused by a tube placed during surgery so that he can relieve himself. This same tube has already exceeded its recommended usage time, which further worsens his health condition.
In addition, our little friend does not have a wheelchair. Even so, he carries a beautiful dream in his heart: to go to school. When I heard this, I committed to helping with his enrollment and school supplies, because nothing is more beautiful than seeing a child smile while learning. However, the biggest challenge at the moment remains the wheelchair. His mother also fears that, if he goes to school, Zeca might suffer bullying, which would be very painful for him.

Despite everything, Zeca is a good, sweet, very intelligent boy, full of hope for life. For this reason, we are organizing school supplies to help him, and we would be very grateful if this message could be shared so it can reach more people and, together, we can find ways to support our little friend.
Zeca also uses disposable supplies daily, and any help in this regard would already be a huge step forward. His mother survives with the support of church members; she has no husband and faces this battle alone, with a strength that inspires.
Helping Zeca is more than an act of solidarity—it is giving dignity, hope, and the chance of a better future to a child who simply wants to live, learn, and be happy.
